DESCRIPTION:Come along and join our Scrapbooking session\, while hanging out with other like minded young people.\n\n\nJoin us for this fun activity! Bring along some of your favourite photos as we learn some scrapbooking basics. In this fun workshop we will learn about the basics of design and colour\, tools and techniques and just get creative. \nThis session will give you the confidence to continue scrapping’ in your own time. \nRegister your interest. This event is open for young people aged 11-17 yrs\, youth who do not meet the required age will have their ticket refunded. \nPlease ensure that you arrive 5 mins prior to the event start time to have your name marked off by one of the Youth Workers and bring your ticket with you. \nPlease note that no food will be provided during this event. Water is available however we do encourage you to bring your own water bottle and packed lunch. \nFollowing this event the Lynwood Youth Centre will be open 1.30pm -until 4:00pm. Young people are more than welcome to stay during this time and enjoy the facility. Youth Centre activities include Nintendo Switch\, PlayStation 4\, Pool tables\, Table tennis and lots of other board games and activities. \nDuty of Care: The City of Canning is committed to providing safe and supported environments where young people can feel welcome and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe\, supported and supervised during their time on our programs and in our centres. A large part of our Youth Service is delivering drop-in from youth centres and outreach activities at various locations; meaning young people can come and go as they please during opening times. Children will sketch\, experiment and invent their own mythical creatures\, from tiny winged fairies to mysterious beasties that might just live under the bed… \nBriony Stewart is known for her warm storytelling style\, whimsical art and ability to turn imagination into pictures that leap off the page.
