With a smoke\, drug and alcohol-free vibe and an easy-going atmosphere\, it’s the perfect chance to roll\, ride and enjoy some friendly competition with great energy and great people. Bring your skills\, your friends and your good vibes! \nCompetition and registration specifics\n\n \n\nThe City of Gosnells Youth team is hosting the competition with the judging facilitated by Freestyle Now. The following information is sourced from Freestyle Now’s event pages. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\nCompetition\n\n\n\n\n\nPre-event registration is required to participate and secure a place in the competition. On the day registration is accepted if spots are available.\nCompetition is being judged under three disciplines:\n  • BMX\n  • Scooter\n  • Skateboard\n\n\nThere are limited spots available to compete. Please cancel your registration if you cannot participate in the competition so that someone on the waiting list can compete. \nFor each division\, competition is being judged under two age groups:\n  • 14 and under\n  • Open\n\n\n \nPlease arrive at least 30 minutes before your competition start time. \n  • Check in: 12:00pm – 12:30pm\n  • Event time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm\n\n\nBe sure to bring a water bottle\, sunscreen\, a helmet and ensure your BMX\,  Scooter or Skateboard is in good working order.\n\n\n\n \n** Note: clicking on the below button will direct to you Freestyle Now’s Eventbrite page. Our events always start from 5pm – 8:30pm.\n\n\n FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION:\n\n\nQ: What times does it start and end?\nA: 5pm – 8:30pm\n\n\nQ: How often do you come here?\nA: Every location is monthly on the same day.\n\n\nQ: When does it run till?\nA: Till the end of April.\n\n\nQ: Are pets allowed?\nA: Yes but they need to be on a leash\, and you will need to bring poo bags to clean up after them.\n\n\nQ: Are there toilets?\nA: Yes\, all locations now have toilets.\n\n\nQ: Is there Eftpos?\nA: Yes\, most if not all of the vendors have eftpos facilities.\n\n\nQ: Is there Gluten Free\, Vegetarian or Vegan options?\nA: Yes\, some food vendors will have these options.\n\n\nQ: Are there tables and chairs available?\nA: We do provide some tables and chairs but are only limited. We encourage you to bring your own blanket or chairs also.\n\n\nQ: Can I know what’s on the menu?\nA: Because we have so many food vendors on our list that may have changing menus\, it’s best to see the lineup which is posted; then contact the individual vendors privately.\n\n\nQ: Why are there less trucks some nights?\nA: There could be a few different reasons for this. Sometimes there could be unfortunate events where the vendors can no longer make it and we couldn’t find a replacement in time. A particular location may not be as busy as others so we would need to reduce the number of vendors for it to be viable for them to attend. There are also many different events around town and our vendors may be committed to other places.\n\n\nPlease remember everyone\, in order for us to keep bringing the BEST food vendors in town to cook you dinner\, we need your support. This will ensure the location stays on the roster for next season. We hope to see you all soon

Freestyle Now will be conducting a FREE skatepark and pump track coaching session at Webber Reserve.\n\n\nThanks to the City of Melville. \nFreestyle now will be facilitating a fun and informative coaching session at Webber Reserve Skatepark and Pump Track  for skateboard\, scooter and BMX participants. Our facilitators analyze the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our coaches speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay the importance of safety\, the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. Freestyle Now team members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nAll participants would need their own equipment\, helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. Our coaches may be able to assist with some minor adjustments (Scooter/BMX Bar straightening\, skate truck/wheel tightening) before the session starts if required and time permitting. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points \n\nParticipants must be wearing a helmet\nPlease remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen\nParents must stay on site if their child is under 12\nLimited spare scooters and skateboard may be available\nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance\nDisclaimer form will need to be signed on the day\nCoaching workshops are not suitable for 3 wheeled plastic scooters\n\nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nOur coaches let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our coaches are very easy going and relate to the participants well. It’s where people of all ages come – with dogs\, prams\, picnic blankets and dancing feet – to soak up incredible live music by the paperbark trees\, as the sun sets over the river. It’s a place where you can feel welcome\, joyful and connected. A place to enjoy a meal and kick back with a drink. It’s everything a festival should be. And best of all – it’s free. \nIn 2026 Perth Festival showcase the sounds of world-class musicians from across the Indian Ocean rim and beyond\, in a program reflecting the diversity of our city and our place in the world. OMG! Festival 2026 lights up Kwinana with the first glow of Karak Sunset Talking – Karak Ngangk Wirdiny Wangkiny.\nExperience the launch of our immersive light installations on Calista Oval\, The Edge Skatepark and the Kwinana Adventure Playground.\nJoin us as we open four days of light\, storytelling and community connection.\nA gentle\, family-friendly introduction to the festival’s illuminated journey — perfect for evening walks and quiet reflection under the lights.\nA limited number of food trucks will be available on the opening night.\n\nFriday 27 February – Live\, Local\, Luminous \n\nCalista Oval comes alive from 5pm to 9pm with food trucks\, live local music\, a pop-up bar and roving performers.\nA great night to meet friends\, enjoy dinner under the stars\, and experience the festival atmosphere at its best.\nThe perfect start to your weekend — eat\, dance and discover light in every direction!\n\nSaturday 28 February – Creative Energy \n\nThe heart of OMG! Festival 2026 beats brightest on Saturday night — with live performances\, interactive art and vibrant community energy.\nCalista Oval lights up again from 5pm to 9pm with more food\, music and family fun.\nExplore Karak Sunset Talking and discover new layers of storytelling through Noongar culture and sound.\nCelebrate local creativity and connection in one of the City’s most exciting nights of the year.\n\nSunday 1 March – Closing Night: Light Lives On \n\nJoin us for the final night of OMG! Festival 2026 as we reflect\, celebrate and enjoy one last walk beneath the lights.\nA calmer\, family-friendly evening to take in the installations and say goodbye until next time.\nOMG! Additional staffed bike racks will be available to provide safe and secure bicycle parking (please bring your own lock). \nPets at the OMG! DESCRIPTION:Froggy’s Fun on the Green is a free\, family-friendly mobile outdoor play session for Cockburn parents\, grandparents or carers with children aged 0 to 5 years. It offers fun activities for children and a chance for mums\, dads\, grandparents or carers to connect with others\, and also access information and support. \nTwo sessions are held per week during school terms. \nPlease note: \n\nNo bookings are required\, just sign in on the day so we can record attendance\nIf you arrive early (before 9am or 8.30am in Term 1) at the park\, use the playground until the session is set up\nDo not attend if you or your child is sick\nPlease help staff pack up after the session\nDo not bring dogs for safety reasons\nParents/carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times (please note there is a lake in Manning Park)\nPlease don’t take photos or videos of children who are not yours or who you are not caring for on the day.\nIn case of bad weather\, call 0467 713 447 to see if Froggy’s is going ahead\, but remember staff are busy setting up so cannot always respond immediately.
