Each work dives into mystery and emerges as a curiosity. What they are and what they mean is still open to interpretation. In her first book “Hope Inc. Overcoming Anorexia and Schizoaffective Disorder”\, Kate shared the story of her struggles with various mental health disorders. One of her greatest struggles was with anorexia nervosa\, a condition that disproportionately affects women all over the world. \nKate’s second book\, “Tell Your Eating Disorder to F**k Off”\, has recently been published\, and is the self-help book for eating disorders\, written by someone who lives with it. Kate’s latest publication is a toolbox for separating who you are from your disorder\, and building a life without constant struggles around food\, weight\, and negative self-perception. \nJoin us at Amherst Village Library on Saturday the 7th of March\, for an author talk by Kate about her new book\, her journey\, and her mission to help others find the hope and healing they are missing. \nCopies of Kate’s books will be available for purchase and signing. \nAdults only.
