DESCRIPTION:The City of Stirling invites you to join us for a Community Planting event at Carine Regional Open Space to help restore sections of the bushland. \nThis event is an opportunity to: \n\nMeet your neighbours and build a sense of community\nImprove the biodiversity and conservation value of our natural areas\nLearn more about conservation and how you can get involved.\n\nThis event will involve planting in the bushland with a variety of important plant species. The planting is done by community members with the guide of expert help from our staff and conservation volunteers. \nThe City requests you bring your own gardening gloves\, water bottle\, closed-in shoes\, protective eye wear and weather appropriate clothing (long pants\, either a broad brim hat/sunscreen or raincoat/pants). On arrival to the event\, volunteers and residents will be asked to register and an induction will be carried out prior to planting activities.
