DESCRIPTION:Carols by the Lake will once again celebrate the festive season as well as the International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD)\, with the annual free event at Galup (Lake Monger). \nThere will be lots of children’s activities including an animal farm\, dodgeball and face painting as well as a visit from Santa. As part of IDPWD there will be a special community art activity run by DADAA\, Rebound WA will be facilitating wheelchair basketball\, Activ Heartbeats will be performing on stage\, WA All Abilities will have their sensory container\, Cycling without Age and a number of disability social enterprises will also be providing their services.

Enjoy heaps of games\, free sausage sizzles\, delightful school performances and a festive Carols sing-along.   \nBring your family\, friends\, picnic gear and plenty of Christmas cheer! \nFREE EVENT\nThis free annual community Event provides an opportunity to gather the community to celebrate the festive season\, strengthen our community spirit and focus on the real meaning of Christmas.  Between 3:15pm-5:45pm\, there are family activities\, food & drinks and carnival games.  The official opening ceremony (by the City of Stirling VIP) is at 5:45pm\, followed by an hour of Carols singing with the Salvation Army Band. There are performances from local choirs/bands and school groups.
