DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of South Perth.\nFreestyle Now will be conducting a FREE BMX / MTB  jam sessions at the Manning pump track.\n\n\nThanks to the City of South Perth. Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE BMX/MTB Jam sessions at the Manning Pump Track. \nHead on down to the Manning BMX and MTB pump track and participate in some good rad fun. There will be some rad prizes to be given out for the challenges that are set on the day and there will be plenty. Who will win best trick? Who will win footdown? Throughout the jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities for all participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. All thanks to the city of South Perth. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective bikes may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants bikes during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points• Participants must be wearing a helmet• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12• Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance• Disclaimer form will need to be signed on the dayFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression.All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday afternoons between 3.00pm and 5.00pm for nature-rich STEM experiences at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre. Just $5 entry per person and open to everyone! \n​ \nWe will introduce a different approach this term. Rather than running structured activities\, we will be offering access to the centre and a range of self-guided activities. Ride your bike\, bring your friends\, pack an afternoon snack or purchase from Twitchers coffee window. \n  \nEvery Wednesday after school we will be providing a range of self-guided nature-based experiences. Come and meet other families who are wild about the natural world. Activities will vary each week and may include: \n\nScooping for macro-invertebrates\nInvertebrate sifting\nWildlife surveys\nOrienteering\nNature art\nRehabilitation\nAnimal feeding\nNature walks\nEco-games\n\n  \nThe Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre will be open to the public for Wildlife Wednesdays during school terms from 3.00pm-5.00pm. DESCRIPTION:We’ll provide you with FREE soil and seeds to grow a small variety of seasonal produce at home. For people of all ages living with disabilities. \nOur Sow & Grow event is a casual drop-in session for people living with disabilities. You will plant seasonal produce seeds to take home before planting later in the season. How it works 🌼 Bring your vessels to plant your seeds in\, then drop-in to the Willagee Community Centre any time during the session. Fill your vessels with soil\, then select a few varieties of seasonal produce seeds to plant. When you’re done sowing\, City of Melville residents can sign up to Grow It Local for FREE growing guides and gardening workshops. What seeding ‘vessels’ you can bring: seedling trays\, egg cartons\, small containers such yoghurt cups If you don’t have any vessels at home\, not to worry we will have some available at the event. Family friendly social event – This is a casual event\, all ages welcome\, please be respectful to each other and your environment. Caregivers are responsible for the health and safety of their children at all times. Guests assume responsibility for their own safety. Accessibility – Event is outdoors in the Courtyard if the weather is fine\, otherwise in the Activity Room. Length – This is a drop-in style event that will be open over a 2 hour period. DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Wanneroo\, Freestyle Now will be hosting a skatepark coaching session at the Landsdale skatepark!\n\n\nThanks to the City of Wanneroo.  \nFreestyle now will be facilitating a fun and informative coaching session at Warrahdale Skatepark for Skateboard\, Scooter and BMX participants. Our facilitators analyze the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our coaches speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay the importance of safety\, the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. Freestyle Now team members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nAll participants would need their own equipment\, helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. Our coaches may be able to assist with some minor adjustments (Scooter/BMX Bar straightening\, skate wheel tightening) before the session starts if required and time permitting. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points \n\nParticipants must be wearing a helmet\nPlease remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen\nParents must stay on site if their child is under 12\nLimited spare scooters and skateboard may be available\nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance\nDisclaimer form will need to be signed on the day\nCoaching workshops are not suitable for 3 wheeled plastic scooters\n\nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nOur coaches let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our coaches are very easy going and relate to the participants well.
