DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Park Play session and enjoy a morning of fun\, laughter and connection with other local families. Designed for children up to 10 years old\, Park Play offers a range of exciting activities including sensory play\, games\, sports equipment and plenty of opportunities for children to explore\, play and make new friends in an outdoor setting. \nWhether your child loves getting active\, being creative or simply spending time outdoors\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Park Play is also a great chance for parents and carers to meet other families in the community while their children play and discover. \nNo registration is required to join in the fun; simply come along\, dress for the weather\, and bring along some drinks and snacks. Please note that Park Play sessions are not supervised\, and parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children at all times. SUMMARY:Learn to Ride Session for children
DESCRIPTION:Enrol your children in this one-hour workshop where they will gain experience towards learning how to ride a bicycle. This workshop is suitable for ages 4 -12 years. \nPeople on Bicycles will help you and your child balancing and pedalling independently on the bike and provide you with your ‘toolkit’ of knowledge that will empower you to move into the adventurous world of two wheels. \nAll equipment (bikes and helmets) is provided\, just bring yourselves. SUMMARY:Holiday Mayhem: AGWA Art Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Gosnells Youth Team for Holiday Mayhem: AGWA Art Adventure\, an inspiring excursion that combines art\, creativity and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment for young people aged 10 to 18 years. \nParticipants will travel together by train from the Gosnells Traing Station to the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) to experience a guided tour of the immersive Stormie Mills exhibition. This unique opportunity will allow participants to explore contemporary artworks\, learn about the artist’s creative journey\, and gain insight into the stories and ideas behind the exhibition. Following the guided tour\, participants will take part in Cranky Pants\, a fun and interactive creative workshop designed to encourage self-expression\, build confidence and explore individual artistic talent. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply keen to try something new\, this hands-on session offers a welcoming space to get creative\, connect with others and discover new ways to express yourself. \nHoliday Mayhem: AGWA Art Adventure offers the perfect mix of art\, inspiration\, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded young people. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore one of Western Australia’s premier cultural destinations\, develop your creative skills and make lasting memories during the school holidays. \n\n\nAdditional Excursion Information\n\n🖼️ Each ticket purchased admits one young person (aged 10-18 years) to attend the excursion. Those who do not meet the age requirements will have their registration cancelled. \n🖼️ Registered participants will meet at the Gosnells Train Station (Wheatley Street side) at 9:00am before heading to the Art Gallery of WA in Perth. Parents/guardians will be responsible for sourcing alternative transport if participants are late. \n🖼️ Lunch will be purchased for participants from the AGWA Cafe for participants. \n🖼️ It is essential for registered participants to: \n\nwear socks and enclosed shoes.\nwear shorts\, trousers\, or long skirts (due to the reflective flooring of the exhibition)\nbring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day’s activities.\nbring their own lunch (if they have specific dietary requirements)\n\n🖼️ Youth and Families programs and events are designed for residents of the City of of Gosnells.
