SUMMARY:Modern Cloth Nappy Workshop - May 2026
DESCRIPTION:Are you thinking about using modern cloth nappies and don’t know where to start? \nJoin Kam Andrews ‘The Nappy Guru’ to learn about using and maintaining cloth nappies. Kam will demonstrate different cloth nappies available and explain the benefits of each. \nModern cloth nappies don’t need pins or soaking and come in a lot of fun designs. Making the switch to cloth nappies will reduce the waste you send to landfill and also save you money. \nThe City of Cockburn is offering residents who attend the workshop a 50% rebate of up to $100 for the purchase or hire of modern cloth nappies. This makes it easy for you to switch from disposables and find a cloth nappy that suits the needs of you and your baby. \nMore details of the City’s cloth nappy subsidy will be provided at the workshop. This workshop is part of the Cloth Nappy and Sanitary Product Rebate program.  \nNot a Cockburn Resident? No worries\, feel free to attend anyway. Many of our neighbouring councils offer similar subsidies which you will be able to access. \nSustainability is a key strategic value for the City of Cockburn. Our vision is to manage our waste services sustainability and lead and support a community that avoids waste generation\, reduces environmental impacts and recognises that waste is a valuable resource to be recovered\, reused and recycled. \n$5 per ticket \nRegister for this workshop
