DESCRIPTION:Looking for a chill spot to hang out? Young people are welcome at our youth centres during Drop-In sessions! Meet new friends\, play games\, and just unwind with Youth Workers on hand.  \nDrop-In at the Castle is a program which provides a safe place throughout the school term for young people who enjoy meeting up and making new friends. There is a range of fun activities including playing table tennis\, foosball\, art activities\, conquering games on the Xbox\, 360 or the Wii and sports equipment. No registration is required to attend. Unless stated otherwise\, all activities hosted during Drop-In are free and light refreshments provided. \nEligibility to attend Drop-In at The Castle\nEligible participants to attend this program must be aged between 10 to 18 years old.  \n \nDates and Times\nAll Youth and Families programs do not operate on Western Australian public holidays\, as listed on the Government of Western Australia’s website. \nPlease visit the School Holiday Drop-In at The Castle event page for when Drop-In at the Castle will be held during the upcoming school holidays.  \nShort-Notice Changes to Programs/Events (including Cancellations)\nFacilitators schedule these much-loved programs in advance. The obvious benefits of meeting in a safe friendly supportive positive and encouraging space to create art\, led to the program becoming ongoing and a new focus of Richmind’s recovery approach and brand.\n \nThis exhibition celebrates the numerous and profound benefits art can have on our mental health and the amazing diversity of ways people can express themselves creatively to support their wellbeing. DESCRIPTION:As part of WA’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art\, Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists\, returns to Boorloo (Perth) with an eight-week exhibition at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA). \nMore than 100 Aboriginal artists\, representing 28 Aboriginal art centres\, as well as 10 independent artists\, have contributed a kaleidoscopic 185 artworks to this year’s exhibition\, curated by proud Whadjuk\, Balladong and Wilman Noongar artist and independent curator Zali Morgan. \nShowcasing the diversity\, depth and cultural strength of Aboriginal art practices\, Revealed transports audiences across the vast state of Western Australia—from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West—with works spanning painting\, printmaking\, photography\, drawing\, sculpture and weaving. \nThe exhibition provides a major platform for Aboriginal artists\, most of whom are based in remote and regional communities\, to share their works with the wider public and derive a sustainable income to support themselves and their communities. \nVisit Website

The obvious benefits of meeting in a safe friendly supportive positive and encouraging space to create art\, led to the program becoming ongoing and a new focus of Richmind’s recovery approach and brand.\n \nThis exhibition celebrates the numerous and profound benefits art can have on our mental health and the amazing diversity of ways people can express themselves creatively to support their wellbeing. DESCRIPTION:Froggy’s Fun on the Green is a free\, family-friendly mobile outdoor play session for Cockburn parents\, grandparents or carers with children aged 0 to 5 years. It offers fun activities for children and a chance for mums\, dads\, grandparents or carers to connect with others\, and also access information and support. \nTwo sessions are held per week during school terms. \nPlease note: \n\nNo bookings are required\, just sign in on the day so we can record attendance\nIf you arrive early (before 9am or 8.30am in Term 1) at the park\, use the playground until the session is set up\nDo not attend if you or your child is sick\nPlease help staff pack up after the session\nDo not bring dogs for safety reasons\nParents/carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times (please note there is a lake in Manning Park)\nPlease don’t take photos or videos of children who are not yours or who you are not caring for on the day.\nIn case of bad weather\, call 0467 713 447 to see if Froggy’s is going ahead\, but remember staff are busy setting up so cannot always respond immediately.
