This unique opportunity will allow participants to explore contemporary artworks\, learn about the artist’s creative journey\, and gain insight into the stories and ideas behind the exhibition. Following the guided tour\, participants will take part in Cranky Pants\, a fun and interactive creative workshop designed to encourage self-expression\, build confidence and explore individual artistic talent. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply keen to try something new\, this hands-on session offers a welcoming space to get creative\, connect with others and discover new ways to express yourself. \nHoliday Mayhem: AGWA Art Adventure offers the perfect mix of art\, inspiration\, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded young people. Through interactive activities and engaging discussions\, discover the secret lives of these remarkable animals and learn how you can get involved in the annual Quenda Count taking place in October. \nMake a real difference for local wildlife by helping to build quenda refuges\, known as “Quenda Cabins”\, which provide shelter from predators such as cats and foxes. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for an exciting hands on robotics and artificial intelligence experience these October School Holidays at Stirling Libraries\, presented by AICODE Australia. \nIn this interactive two hour workshop\, participants will explore how robots are used in the real world through engaging demonstrations\, coding activities and hands on challenges using Sphero robots and the DJI RoboMaster EP. \nStudents will develop coding and robot control skills as they program robots to complete tasks\, solve problems and take on an exciting mission challenge. Along the way\, they will discover what artificial intelligence is\, how it differs from other technologies and how it can be applied through robotics in everyday life. \nDesigned to inspire creativity\, logical thinking and problem solving\, this fun and engaging workshop encourages safe and responsible technology use while building valuable STEM skills through hands on learning. \nSuitable for children aged 7-14 years old. DESCRIPTION:The Underground Drop-In (School Holidays) is a free\, welcoming space where young people aged 10–25 can relax\, connect with friends and enjoy a range of recreational activities in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’re looking to play games\, socialise\, explore your creative interests or simply unwind\, The Underground offers opportunities to have fun\, build confidence and make new connections. \nYoung people can enjoy a variety of entertainment options\, including pool tables\, table tennis\, foosball\, PlayStation 5\, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The centre is also home to a professional digital recording studio\, providing aspiring musicians and creatives with access to quality equipment and opportunities to develop their skills. Passionate musicians can also perform on our fully equipped stage at Late Night Live\, a once-a-term live music night. \nThere are two Drop-In sessions tailored to different age groups: \n\n10-14 years: provides a fun and welcoming space for younger secondary school-aged young people to make friends\, enjoy activities\, build confidence and try new experiences.\n15-25 years: offers young people in this age group a relaxed environment to socialise\, unwind\, explore their interests and connect with others in a supportive setting.\n\nQualified Youth Workers are present at every session to provide support\, guidance and a friendly chat whenever needed. Light refreshments are provided and\, unless otherwise stated\, all activities are free to attend.
