IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Sunday’s Tropic Like It’s Hot sessions have been cancelled due to forecast extreme heat.
The City has made the difficult decision to cancel Sunday’s morning and afternoon sessions following consultation with experts and with safety in mind. Sunday’s weather forecast at present is 43 degrees, with a total fire ban likely in place.
The health and safety of community members, event attendees, staff and contractors is the City’s number one priority.
People who have purchased tickets for Sunday’s sessions can either request a refund or turn up to either of the Saturday sessions with the Sunday tickets. Saturday’s sessions are held at 9am-12pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm. To request a refund for your Sunday tickets please email events@gosnells.wa.gov.au.
The City appreciates attendees’ understanding around this difficult decision – and we look forward to seeing you at Tropic Like It’s Hot this Saturday.
Ride the wave to Tropic Like It’s Hot and dive into a ‘splash-tastic’ day of pop-up water park fun!
Over 25 water slides, Supa Soak Maze, wet and wild games, Critters Up Close, a live DJ, food trucks and much more.
Tickets are just $5 for a three-hour session. Children 2 years and under are free of charge.
There will be two water-fun sessions each day to choose from:
- 9am – 12pm
- 3pm – 4.30pm
Tropic Like It’s Hot is a City of Gosnells event with sponsorship from Lotterywest and Great Beginnings Beckenham.
