The Tragedy of “Black Bess”

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the boat Leviathan, also known as “Black Bess”, the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre will be hosting an exhibition presented by the Mandurah Museum and produced in association with RT Kids and James Walker.

This is the story of sailing boat Leviathan and boat builder Charles Olaf Wilson.  This exhibition explores the significance Leviathan and Mr Wilson played in the maritime history of Mandurah.

  • Dates: 25 August to 21 September
  • Time: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
