Skate Clinic & Youth Centre Drop In, Ages 11 – 17yrs.
July 6 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us for this fun activity! The Skateboarding Program WA will be teaching you all the coolest tricks and skills. No previous skills necessary, just come along and put your best foot forward.
Register your interest. This event is open for young people aged 11-17 yrs, youth who do not meet the required age will have their ticket refunded.
Please ensure that you arrive 10 mins prior to the event start time to have your name marked off by one of the Youth Workers and bring your ticket with you.
Please note that no food will be provided during this event. Water is available however we do encourage you to bring your own water bottle and packed lunch.
Following this event, the Willetton Youth Centre will be open until 4:45pm. Young people are more than welcome to stay during this time and enjoy the facility. Youth Centre activities include Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Pool tables, Table tennis and lots of other board games and activities.
Duty of Care: The City of Canning is committed to providing safe and supported environments where young people can feel welcome and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time on our programs and in our centres. A large part of our Youth Service is delivering drop-in from youth centres and outreach activities at various locations; meaning young people can come and go as they please during opening times. Please note: if a young person chooses to leave in the middle of a program or centre open hours, they have the right to do so. City of Canning does not take responsibility for young people who leave the centre or are not in the premises. City of Canning youth staff do not have the authority to keep young people at our premises at the request of parents.
