Play ‘n Create
August 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Play ‘n Create is a FREE session, aimed at children aged 3-5 years and their caregivers.
Join us for a range of fun guided activities for young children and their carers that support early childhood development through play.
In this session, you and your child will have the opportunity to engage in a range of guided activities that promote physical and emotional health and development through:
• Imaginative play
• Musical instruments, songs, dance and rhythm
• Creative visual arts and crafts
• Games, sharing and movement
Play provides a wonderful opportunity for children to express themselves in a variety of ways. All children are different and you may find they gravitate to certain activities. Your child may prefer to role play alone with figurines, act out dramatic role-plays for the family or create masterpieces for the fridge.
1. Book your ticket
2. Arrive at your library
3. Be welcomed into the Play ‘n Learn session.
4. Share play activities with your child.
5. Share songs and learning together as a group.
6. Pack-up together and say goodbyes.
7. Continue to Play ‘n Learn at home

Ideally, sessions are best with one on one interactions between parent/caregiver and their child. This enables participants to gain the most from the experience. Where possible alternative child care for siblings is recommended however not essential.
