Nature know-how: Meet the animals at Native Animal Rescue

Please note that this is a program for young people aged 6 – 14 (no parent/guardian supervision required), and is an educational talk and guided tour. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and bring a drink bottle.
Native Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation which cares and rehabilitates sick, injured, orphaned and displaced native animals so they can return to their natural habitat. They have a variety of animals on site throughout the year including Black Cockatoos, owls, Tawny Frogmouths, Nankeen Kestrals, Australian Hobbys and Redcapped parrots, Woylies, Western Ringtail Possums, snakes, lizards and frogs.
The tour will begin with a wildlife interaction with some of the educational animals and exploration of the education area before heading to the Black Cockatoo area and lake, weather permitting.
