National Simultaneous Storytime 2024 – City of South Perth Libraries

Join us in celebrating reading across the nation and connect with your community! 

Come along to South Perth or Manning library for a special Time for Stories sessions over the week and take part in our National Simultaneous Storytime celebrations! 

Session times

  • Manning Library – 10.30-11.30am, Wednesday 22 May Book here
  • South Perth Library – 10.30-11.30am, Thursday 23 May Book here

The event is free and bookings are not required but is available to help track attendance numbers.

Come along and hear the National Simultaneous Story – Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker, along with some other favourites stories and activities.

Recommended for children aged 2-5 years.

About National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book is read on the same day at the same time across Australia in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places.
