Join Noongar presenter Olman Walley for this interactive storytelling experience.

Gain a deeper understanding of Noongar culture and the people of Boorloo (Perth) through the stories.

For ages 4 – 12 years.

Bookings are essential.

Please arrive by 9.45am for a 10am start.

About Boorloo

Boorloo is a small, family-owned company based in the Perth metropolitan area. Boorloo was created in 2018 by husband and wife Olman and Sharna Walley.

About Olman Walley

My name is Olman Walley and I am a Wiilman, Balardong, Binjareb, Wadjuk Nyoongar. I was raised in the Wiilman (Wheatbelt) region and was taught Noongar culture by my family and elders. My Nyoongar name is Chitty Chitty (Willy Wagtail) and I love to share the stories, history, music, dance and knowledge of our wonderful ancient culture.

FAQs

Do I need to print off my ticket for the event? Bookings are essential, however, you do not need to have a printed copy of the ticket.

How can I cancel my ticket if I can no longer attend? You can cancel your ticket via the app or by contacting the organiser.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions? For more information, contact Library Services via email library_queries@gosnells.wa.gov.au or call one of our four libraries:

  • Knowledge Centre 9391 6000
  • Thornlie Library 9251 8750

Visitors to the City’s libraries will be required to follow contract tracing protocol as specified by the WA Health Department. Public health measures such as the use of hand sanitiser and complying with reduced event capacities for social distancing must be followed by all participants.

Parents please note that children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children between 6 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, or older sibling (13 years and over).
