Youth Fest is back again with Street sports Kick off
So what’s on at Youth Fest BENTLEY?
- Inflatables including a bouncy castle, gladiator Duel, trampolines, climbing wall and more…
- FREE Sausage Sizzle
- Free Popcorn and Fairy floss
- Live Community Radio Station playing all your favourite hits
- Photobooth to capture all your moments with printable photos to take home
- Heaps of chill and art activities with local services like headspace, MercyCare, Canning Ranger servicer with Ranger Buddy, our Canning Libraries crew , and Edmund Rice Centre WA
Youth Fest is a drug, smoke and alcohol free event for young people, Families and the community Young people are welcomed to bring along their friends, siblings and and family to the event.
Note to parents/guardians: The City of Canning is committed to providing safe and supported environments where young people can feel welcomed and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time at the event. Duty of Care: The City of Canning is committed to providing safe and supported environments where young people can feel welcome and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time at the event. A large part of our Youth Service is delivering drop-in from youth centres and outreach activities at various locations; meaning young people can come and go as they please during opening times and during events. Please note: if a young person chooses to leave in the middle of the event, they have the right to do so. City of Canning does not take responsibility for young people who leave the event or are not in the premises. City of Canning youth staff do not have the authority to keep young people at our premises at the request of parents.
COVID Safety: The event will be delivered in line with the Department of Health’s recommendations around COVID safety and therefore sensible public health measures including good hygiene, cleaning regimes and physical distancing at the event will be practiced. Check-ins and registration for the event is encouraged to help in ensuring a safe and enjoyable event.
