Kaarakin: Black Cockatoo Experience – Mirrabooka

Kaarakin is a not-for-profit Centre who specialise in rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing the tree threatened and endemic species of black cockatoos that inhabit south west WA. Each year our team of over 160 volunteers respond to around 300 rescues all over the south west and drive in excess of 35,000km to do so! Join us for an educational and interactive talk all about black cockatoo biology, threats and what you can do to help! Get up close to and meet Princess Rex, our education live black cockatoo will also be in attendance!

Please note that this program is suitable for ages 8 to 12. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. This workshop is running multiple times at various Stirling Libraries. Spaces are limited; please only register for one of the sessions.
