These days, you won’t see the Discovery Centre looking this quiet anymore – the secret is out!! Our hidden gem isn’t so hidden anymore.
Weekday openings have seen the centre become a vibrant and bustling space, and our coffee window Twitchers is also doing a roaring trade.
Come and see what all the fuss is about! It’s an easy and affordable excursion with lots to learn, see and do.
Inside the newly refurbished building you will find live wildlife displays, an interactive digital microscope, a specially designed early childhood discovery room, spotting binoculars, and a thoughtful nature gift shop.
The centre is open on weekday mornings from 9am-12pm, save for Wednesdays when we cater for the after-school crowd by being open from 3-5pm!
