Encouraging healthy eating and cooking for a family can be challenging.
Come along to this free five week program to learn how to make mealtimes a great experience for the whole family.
Each 2.5 hour sessions includes 1 hour of learning through fun, interactive activities and discussion, 1 hour of hands-on cooking using quick, tasty, low-cost recipes, followed by a shared meal with parents and children.
The creche at The RISE will be available for parents and carers free of charge during the program. Please advise when booking if creche services are required.

Here’s what you’ll learn:
Week 1 – Basics of healthy eating for the whole family
Week 2 – Introduction to solids, recommended amounts, textures and types of food for each childhood development stage.
Week 3 – Helpful tools and tips to make mealtimes joyful and tackle picky eating.
Week 4 – How to read food labels and pack healthy snacks and lunchboxes safely.
Week 5 – How to plan and feed the family on a budget.

Every week – Participants will cook quick, easy, delicious, healthy family meals and share them with their children and receive a comprehensive workbook, recipe booklets, kids healthy eating plate, reusable shopping bag and Certificate of Attendance.
