Dusk Watch and the Bat Monitoring Program – Canning River

November 29, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Have you noticed the outside world comes alive as the sun sets?

Join us for an information session with Kelly Sheldrick from the Conservation Council of WA about two new Citizen Science Programs: Dusk Watch and the Bat Monitoring Program.

Kelly will walk and talk us through how to become a citizen scientist at dusk using the iNaturalist app.

Then have the opportunity to take part in the surveys, use a bat detector and join an evening walk discovering what wildlife can be seen and heard in the night.

Bring a torch and your phone, and wear long pants and closed shoes as we explore the wildlife at dusk. Please download the iNaturalist app before the session.
