Colour Scientist (Beechboro)

Please note that this program is suitable for ages 5-10, and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.
This workshop is designed to be an open ended, exploratory experience where children are given the space, resources and freedom to lead their own learning and make scientific discoveries in a fun and engaging way.
The children will have the opportunity to express their sense of creativity through colour while building on their understanding of colour relationships through measurement, quality, light, shade and texture.
Using a range of sensory rich mediums together we will conduct experiments, hypothesis and create colour recipes for the children to make and mix their own unique range of tones and hues. Join us for the art of science!
In accordance with hygiene requirements, social distancing will be maintained throughout this program and hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use.
