The Catio Workshop offers an immersive experience for participants. Featuring cat behaviorist Heather Crawford, who provides answers to all your cat-related questions, Matty Knoakes provides the building steps and materials involved and Chris Ferreira, who helps participants learn how to improve their cat’s life while protecting wildlife. Learn how to build your own Catio using a variety of materials that best suit your home.

Adult learning space- guests are requested to turn phones to silent, where possible, remain seated for the duration of the event, be respectful to facilitator and attendees alike and exit discreetly when needed. This event is unlikely to be suitable for children.

Accessibility

Mostly sitting.

Directions to centre

Please consider using public transportation. A bus stop, just a 2-minute walk away, is conveniently located near the Centre and services multiple routes.

The Centre is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in the Piney Lakes reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Hwy across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.
