Bunny care: Myths and facts at Ellenbrook Library

September 7, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Thinking of getting a pet rabbit but unsure where to start? Want to learn more about these amazing animals? Then this is the talk for you!

Please note that this program is suitable for adults aged 18+, and is an information session. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

Do you know which of these facts is false?

a: bunnies should eat a carrot a day to improve their eyesight

b: bunnies eat their own poo

c: bunnies have 28 teeth that never stop growing

Come along to find out! Join Rin from The Bun House to talk all things rabbits, and meet some of their bunnies. Learn about bunny care, breed specifics, common illnesses and ways to treat them. We will also chat about the issues the bunny community is facing from unethical breeding, poor public education about rabbit care, the difference between feral and domestic rabbits, and ways you can help out.

Please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact Ellenbrook Public Library on (08) 9207 8787.
