Baby Massage for Dads @ Clarkson Library

Baby massage is a gentle way for dads and their infants to connect and to gain from all the benefits it has to offer.
Jane Tetley is an Infant Massage Instructor and a Nurse, with a background in Midwifery and Child Health. She has worked with families over many years in varied settings. She believes that by nurturing and supporting parents and encouraging them to trust their own intuitive ability to parent, that they are then better able to nurture and support their infants.
During this FREE session you will cover…
- appropriate oils for baby massage
- contraindications to massage
- when and where to massage
- permission sequence
- strokes for basic sequence
Please bring a towel/blanket for your baby to lie on. Massage oil and handouts will be provided.
Mums are invited to morning tea during the massage session to meet other families.
This session is suitable for 6-weeks to pre-crawlers only.
