DESCRIPTION:Welcome the New Year on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island!\n\n\nThere’s no better place to spend the last day of 2025 and welcome the new year with friends and family. \nEnjoy a day of exploring the island before relaxing into an afternoon of fun\, family-friendly entertainment with roving performances and live music from 4 pm. \nAs the sun dips below the horizon of the Indian Ocean\, gather to mark the occasion with a spectacular free family fireworks display above Thomson Bay at 8 pm. It’s the perfect way to usher in a bright new year and create lasting memories. \nWith regular ferry services departing back to Fremantle and Hillarys from 8:45 pm\, you can enjoy the island all day before heading home after the fireworks. \n \n\n\nWhere to Find the Event\nThe event is located in the heart of the main settlement\, across Thomson Lawn\, which is an easy two-minute walk from the main jetty. \n \n\n\nFerry Travel\nFerry tickets to Wadjemup / Rottnest Island are not included in your event registration.
