Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE skatepark coaching sessions at the Gwynne Skatepark.\n\n\nThanks to the City of Armadale. \nFreestyle now will be facilitating an informal\, fun and informative coaching session at Gwynne Skatepark for Rollerskate\, Scooter\, BMX and Skateboard participants. Our facilitators analyze the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our coaches speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay the importance of safety\, the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. Freestyle Now team members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nParticipants are split up into groups based on their skill level and what they are interested in achieving. \nAll participants would need their own equipment\, helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. All skill levels.\n\n\nThanks to the City of Bayswater. \nBayswater skatepark skateboard coaching session \nSession 1 – 9amSession 2 – 10am \nLOCATION – Bayswater Skatepark\, Wotton Reserve\, Embelton Ave\, Embelton \nThe workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6. \nFreestyle Now squad members will offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette\, as well as give step by step instructions on how to achieve greater levels of confidence. \nEach coaching workshop session is 50 minutes in duration. A parent information session takes place between the two sessions so if you are in the second session please be early. Our facilitators analyze the participants skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. \nParticipants are split up into groups based on their skills and or what is required to learn. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes.Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate.
