DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Rockingham\nFreestyle Now will be conducting FREE coaching sessions at the Cooloongup skate park.\n\n\nFreestyle Now will be hosting a FREE skatepark skateboard\, scooter\, bmx and roller skate coaching workshop session at the Cooloongup skate park. All thanks to the City of Rockingham.  \nSession 1 -3:30pm \nSession 2 – 4:30pm \nFreestyle Now team members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nOur facilitators analyse the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participants’ language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimise injuries. \nAll participants will need their own equipment and are required to wear a helmet and closed-in shoes. Participants with defective skateboards may not be able to participate. Our facilitators may not be able to make repairs to participants’ skateboards during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points: \n• Participants must be wearing a helmet \n• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen \n• Participants must be over the age of 6 \n• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12 \nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the Shire of Dardanup\, Freestyle Now will be hosting a skatepark coaching session at the Eaton skatepark.\n\n\nThanks to the Shire of Dardanup. \nSession 1 – 2:00pm – 2:50pm \nSession 2 – 3:00pm – 3:50pm \nSession 3 – 4:00pm – 4:50pm \nFreestyle now will be facilitating fun and informative coaching sessions at Eaton Skatepark for Skateboard\, Scooter and BMX participants. Our facilitators analyze the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. There will be mini challenges held during the session with lots of prizes to be given away. Participants can register for the sessions on line via the link below. Participants can also register on the day. All thanks to the City of Wanneroo. \nThe jam session runs for 2 hours. Participants can come and go as they please. There is no groups allocated to Freestyle Now coaches in this session. It is an open session in relation to the coaching side. The session will be open to any participants in skateboard\, scooter\, BMX and Rollerskate who would like to increase their skill level and get advice on tricks. There will be mini challenges held during the session with lots of prizes to be given away. Participants can register for the sessions on line via the link below. Participants can also register on the day. \nThe jam session runs for 3 hours. Participants can come and go as they please. There is no groups allocated to Freestyle Now coaches in this session. Throughout the jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities for all participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. A parent information session takes place between the two sessions so if you are in the second session please be early. Our facilitators analyze the participants skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. \nParticipants are split up into groups based on their skills and or what is required to learn. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes.Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. SUMMARY:Gosnells skatepark - BMX Coaching
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Gosnells. Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE BMX coaching sessions at the Gosnells skatepark\n\n\nThanks to the City of Gosnells. Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE BMX coaching sessions at the Gosnells skatepark \nSession 1 – 3:00pm \nSession 2 – 4:00pm \nFreestyle Now squad members would be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nEach coaching workshop session is 50 minutes in duration. Our facilitators analyze the participants skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. \nParticipants are split up into groups based on their skills and or what is required to learn. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective bikes may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants bikes during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points \n• BMX bikes only \n• Participants must be wearing a helmet \n• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen \n• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12 \n• Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance \n• Disclaimer form will need to be signed on the day \nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports\, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. \nFreestyle Now hosts many coaching workshop sessions throughout the year for various local governments\, community organizations and private companies. \nFreestyle Now also can do private coaching lessons. \nwww.freestylenow.net
