SUMMARY:Point Walter BMX/MTB coaching session
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Melville\, Freestyle Now will be hosting a MTB/BMX coaching session at Dyoondalup Bike Park\, Point Walter.\n\n\nJoin Freestyle Now for a free\, fun and energetic jump track coaching session open to all riders aged 6 and above. Whether you’re just finding your feet or already throwing tricks\, our coaches are here to help you progress at your own pace. \nThe session is open to MTB/BMX riders of all skill levels. At Freestyle Now we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to ride\, learn and grow. No matter your age\, background\, ability or what wheels you roll on\, you are welcome here. \nWhat to bring – Your MTB/BMX\, a helmet (mandatory)\, and plenty of enthusiasm. Make sure your equipment is in good working order before you arrive. Sunscreen and a water bottle are also a good idea. \nWhat to expect – Our experienced Freestyle Now coaches will be on hand throughout the session helping riders build new skills\, boost confidence and most importantly\, have a great time. The jump track will remain open to all users during the event\, so the whole community is welcome to come along and be part of the action. These sessions are about more than just learning tricks. They are about building connections\, supporting each other and strengthening the local skatepark community. Whether you are a first-time rider or a seasoned regular\, you will find a place here. \nOur community – Freestyle Now is proud to create spaces where young people feel seen\, supported and inspired. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community through action sports\, where every rider is encouraged to push themselves safely\, celebrate their progress and connect with others who share the same passion for riding. \nChoosing the right group for you – When registering\, please make sure you select the skill group that honestly reflects your current riding level. This is really important as each group has limited spots and is designed to give every rider the best possible experience with coaching tailored to where they are at in their journey. \nIf the Beginner group is showing as full\, please do not register into the Intermediate or Advanced group as an alternative. These groups are structured for riders with existing skills and experience\, and placing a beginner rider in the wrong group is not fair on them\, other participants or the coaches delivering the session. \nRegistrations that do not match the selected skill level will not be accepted on the day. \nIf you are unsure which group is right for you\, reach out to us before registering and we will point you in the right direction. \nSkill level guide \nBeginner – New to riding or still building the basics. You are comfortable on your bike but not yet confident with jumps\, drops or technical features. \nIntermediate – You have a solid foundation and are starting to progress onto more challenging terrain and tricks. \nAdvanced – You are riding confidently at a high level and looking to push your skills further with more technical coaching. \nRegistration and waiver of claims will need to be signed upon arrival on the day.

SUMMARY:Honeycomb Pump Track BMX / MTB coaching
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to Creating Communities. Freestyle Now will be conducting a FREE BMX / MTB pump track coaching sessions at Honeycomb Park.\n\n\nThanks to the Creating Communities. Freestyle Now will be conducting FREE BMX / MTB coaching sessions at the Honeycomb Park pump track. \nThe workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6. \nFreestyle Now team members would be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nOur facilitators analyze the participants skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. \nParticipants are split up into groups based on their skills and or what is required to learn. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective bikes may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants bikes during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points \n• BMX and moutain bikes only \n• Participants must be wearing a helmet \n• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen \n• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12 \n• Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance \n• Disclaimer form will need to be signed on the day \nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well.
