Marri Park is a great little spot to take the kids to burn off some extra energy. This park is also dog-friendly, so you could even bring your fur baby along. There is a large grass oval with soccer goals at the top end of the park, so don’t forget your ball for a kick around. There are footpaths that run around the outside, as well as through the middle of the playground. Miss 4 loved riding her bike around with her friends. Hilton Park is tucked away in the middle of Duncraig. You can access it from the end of 6 cul-de-sacs, one being Hilton Place. This is great as there are no busy roads running alongside it though it means there isn’t a lot of parking available. Hilton Park is a large park with plenty of tall trees offering shade. There’s a unique playground set on sand, with a climbing wall for the offer children- this looked like a lot of fun and I had to have a go! There are a few different climbing challenges, including the wall, a curved Read more…

Carine Open Space is one of our local and favourite parks to head to on the weekend as there are oodles to do and see. We usually spend a few hours there if it’s nice weather and take the kids scooters/bikes and the dog. This is a big favourite for dog walkers on the weekend and they sometimes have organised sporting comps on at the weekend so it can get busy at peak times. There’s a pedestrian pathway around the main playground area and then this turns into a dirt road but still great for prams, scooters and bikes and Read more…
