Jelly Tots Entertainment – We were recently lucky to attend a Barbie themed party at the Warradale Community Centre with Jelly Tots. Jelly Tots parties and events are suitable for children from 0+ and over. So Miss almost 3 was excited to check one out.
Bubbly Elisa who runs Jelly Tots made us all feel really welcome. The party started with Elisa dressed in a fabulous pink Barbie costume greeting each child, introducing herself, and painting their nails.
The party then ramped up and everyone danced with shiny fairy wands and in balloon fairy wings, singing to music from the Barbie movies as well as more familiar action songs. Barbie joined the children in a hula dance while wearing leis and glittery hats, and in dancing with rainbow coloured ribbons similar to those used by gymnasts.
Barbie also lead the children in playing games such as Barbie Musical Statues, which involved dancing with pom-poms to boppy music, and freezing when the music stopped.
It was a real pamper party for the girls with the children getting to wear Barbie’s special perfume (if no allergies and ok with parents!), and a shining jewel placed on their cheek. The girls were also given a magical pink jewel to take home and a little heart necklace to keep.
Miss almost 3 took a little time to warm up, but once she did she was excited for the Barbie princess themed fun. Especially when the bubbles, musical instruments and hobby horses came out!
While this was a Barbie themed party open to the public (priced at $12 per child), Jelly Tots runs parties with many other themes, including a Wacky Minion party, Rapunzels Craft Party, Ariels Under The Sea Dance Party, and a Frozen theme with Elisa dressing as Queen Elsa.
Elisa also works with a number of early learning centres with her Music & Boogie Classes, teaching themes such as ‘Stars, Moon and Space’, where Elisa dresses as Buzz Lightyear. She feels very passionately about teaching children through engaging them with music.
Jelly Tots entertainment are available to hire for parties at home, play centres, wherever you might want to host a party. Select from a number themes such as a favourite Disney princess, superheroes, pirates, cowboys and cowgirls, or fairies. There are many party themes to choose from, and each party experience is tailored to your child’s needs. They can sing and dance, do glitter tattoos, play games, do magic, balloon twist, provides over a hundred funky props and dress-ups to your party. You can take a look at the many themes available here on their web page: www.jellytotsparties.com
Jelly Tots events at community centres are available from Landsdale, Marangaroo, Gosnells, Belmont, Rockingham and Baldivis.
It’s worth checking the Jelly Tots Perth Facebook page to see when events and community parties are coming up and to check the costs as they vary depending on location and what’s involved.
Our impression is that the parties are packed with energy, enthusiasm and entertainment. The children are kept in anticipation of the next surprise, game or song that is in store. Elisa endeavours to make every child feel special and included, whether that be with a quick dance, a cuddle or a smile. She was very sweet, and it was easy to see she loves what she does. We really enjoyed our Jelly Tots Party experience.
