Faeries, Mermaids and Pixies- an Unfairy Tale
Once upon a time in a land not so far away there lived an enchanted faerie godmother, a curious mermaid and a Pixie Prince Charming.

Their tales you may have heard before, but not like this. These tales are told upside down in this un-fairy tale as we break stereotypes to find true magic- that everyone is not what they seem, in fact, they are so much more.

A full musical theatre production for families with singing, dancing, interactive theatre and a storyline to treasure. You’ll hear your favourite Eco Faerie songs performed live. We encourage children (and grown-ups) to dance and sing along with us.

Take a journey into the world of the faeries and see where they truly come from.

Performed at the Sunset Veranda Pop-up theatre for two shows only. These are always sell out events so book in fast. Tickets are $12.50.

Come early for 9am-10am to meet a real life mermaid, Mermaid Kat, before the show or do some craft by the sea with the Eco Faeries. Free pre-show activities.

Wednesday 29th January 10:45am -12:15pm

Register here –

The workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6.

Freestyle Now squad members would be present to offer participants technical advice, trick tips, skill development and skatepark etiquette.

Each coaching workshop session is comprised of two 90 minutes sessions with a 10 minute parent information session conducted at the beginning of each session to help educate parents on skatepark etiquette, understanding of scooters, and safety issues.

Our facilitators analyze the participants skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries.

All participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective scooters may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants scooters during the coaching session.

Participants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus.

Key points

• Coaching workshops are not suitable for 3 wheeled plastic scooters.

• Participants must be wearing a helmet

• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen

• Participants must be over the age of 7

• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12

• Please fill out the disclaimer and bring it with you on the day. Limited blank copies will be available.

Freestyle Now coaching workshops are fun, informative and motivational.

The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression.

All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues.

Freestyle Now hosts many coaching workshop sessions throughout the year for various local governments, community organizations and private companies.
