Visitors can engage in a variety of activities, such as constructing a pyramid using engineering skills, navigating the treacherous path of the Egyptian Underworld, learning about mummification and preparing for the afterlife, and creating a personalised cartouche to take home using hieroglyphics.
Additionally, Pyramid Playtime provides exhibition access, spot-talks for ‘ancient mummies’, and sensory Egyptian-themed play for ‘little Pharaohs’ with free admission for children under 5 every Monday morning during the school term.

Location and Access
The WA Museum is located at Perth Cultural Centre, James Street, Perth. You can easily access the museum by entering the Perth Cultural Centre through James Street. It is close to the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the State Library of Western Australia.
Parking and Public Transport
There are several car parks available near the exhibition:
- Cultural Centre Car Park on Roe Street
- State Library Car Park on Francis Street
- Citiplace Car Park on Roe Street
