Located 1.75km along Busselton Jetty, this unique underwater observatory is one of only six in the world. The experience includes a solar-powered train ride on the Stocker Preston Express and a 40-minute guided tour descending 8 meters below sea level. Open daily from 9am to 6pm, visitors can observe over 300 marine species and colourful corals through 11 large viewing windows.
Stand-Out Feature:
The spiral staircase takes you through multiple viewing levels, with the ocean floor level being particularly popular for spotting large fish and occasional scuba divers. The 3-6 metre depth zone showcases vibrant corals and sponges in their natural habitat.
Top Tip:
Book your tour in advance to secure your spot. The package includes a return train ride, observatory tour, and Jetty Day Pass. After your tour, take time to visit the Interpretive Centre for souvenirs and walk to the jetty’s end – exactly 1.841km out to sea.
