Bounce is a huge indoor trampoline park with over fifty trampolines and various fun trampoline-based activities. We recently tried out one of their fabulous kids’ party packages, for Miss 8’s birthday.
We started off in the meeting area, which was labeled with our birthday party “1 – Dodge Ball” (this linked to our party room of the same name and number). Every child was given complimentary Bounce grip socks, and all our shoes and belongings were gathered together in a tub that was placed safely in our party room. We were also given wristbands to identify the party kids.
The party got off to an immediate start to make use of the 60 minute session time, which started promptly on the hour. (Be sure to ask your guests to arrive a few minutes earlier so they don’t miss out). We were allocated a Party Hostess who led all the kids down to the Free Jump Arena. They enthusiastically got stuck right in jumping as high as they could! Bounce has a one child per trampoline rule, so we didn’t have any wild crashes or tears – it was a lot of fun but in a contained and safe way, which worked really well.
The hostess made sure all the kids were happy and included, even enticing a hesitant Miss 3, patiently drawing her in every time she became a bit overwhelmed. The hostess demonstrated some fun moves that the kids could try but also let them do their own thing. The area we were in was restricted access for our party alone – I witnessed a few kids being turned away by the vigilant hostess.
After about 20 minutes we moved on to another area called Dodge Ball. Here our hostess led a ball game that had the kids laughing a lot for a further 20 minutes. Again the area was for our use only while we were in it.
By now the kids had really worked up a sweat and needed a drink break. Remember to ask your guests to bring their water bottles along. You can refill them at the water fountain, or simply make use of the water fountain regardless.
Kids recharged, we headed to the third and final area called the Big Bag. This consisted of three trampoline lanes ending in a big lumpy-looking air filled “bag”. Our party had one lane all to ourselves and the kids lined up taking turns eagerly. The aim is to run/bounce down the lane and do one final jump into the bag – heaps of fun by the looks on the kids faces.
After one hour the kids were truly shattered and very keen to be led down to the party room, which was already set up with food and party boxes with balloons. We had the room for 30 minutes which was ample time for the kids to scoff down all the yummy food, and also sing to the birthday girl and have cake.
The mini burgers were a big hit and very delicious, and the potato gems instead of ordinary fries were also a favourite! The kids loved the ice-cold water and the yummy Nudie fruit boxes.
From the optional party extras, we chose party boxes (including a lolly bag, popcorn, a Bounce sticker and bracelet) which came with a blown up helium balloon for each child – a great take home item.
Our cake was a choc mousse layered cake that was very decadent for chocolate lovers. It went far and we were able to take home the leftovers. Another option available is an Ice Cream Cake or you can opt to bring your own birthday cake instead.

Bounce is a neat, clean and smoothly run operation, with new equipment that is in great condition. The atmosphere is energetic and fun, and the cheerful bright décor adds to the good vibe. Sessions are booked online with limited numbers, therefore allowing good control of the jumping zones – each one is also manned by a staff member who makes sure jumpers follow the rules. The minimum age allowed to jump is 3 years old. A couple of areas are height restricted and are therefore more suited to older children.
We were so impressed with our friendly hostess who supervised everything flawlessly, resulting in a stress-free memorable party. Ten happy and exhausted kids left Bounce, wanting to know when next they could visit again!
