Join Waste Educator Laura Monisse for an engaging session on reducing food waste in the kitchen.

For adults and youth 16+

Are you looking to cut down on food waste in your kitchen? Do you want to maximise value for your money and time? Have you been dreaming of an organised fridge and pantry that are both easy to cook from and use?

Whether you live a busy life, are passionate about sustainability, or you’re a cooking enthusiast, this workshop is for you!

Together, we’ll explore:

✅ Causes of food waste at home

✅ How you can use produce from root to shoot

✅ Different methods of meal planning

✅ Smart shopping habits

✅ Effective food storage techniques

✅ Creative ways to use leftovers

✅ How change starts in your own kitchen

You’ll leave the workshop with the knowledge, skills and confidence to embrace a more mindful approach to food planning, shopping, storage, preparation, cooking and eating! You’ll unlock the potential to transform your kitchen into a waste-saving place.

Your workshop facilitator is Laura Monisse. She is a passionate sustainability educator, workshop facilitator, and yoga teacher. With a background in Population Health, Integrated Design, Waste Management and Adult Education, she brings her expertise and experience to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. Her workshops will inspire you to make positive changes with practical strategies that you are easy to implement for a more conscious, healthier, sustainable life.
