Emu Point playground is situated right on the beach front. It is a fantastic place to come on a nice warm day to combine a swim in the ocean and a play at the park. There are a few barbeque areas with tables and chairs scattered around. The playground itself has a couple of swings, one being a toddler seat. Eyre Park has had a huge upgrade approx 1 year ago. It is such a lovely place to come and let the kids burn off all that extra energy. There are plenty of tables and chairs dotted around the park, and even a few barbeques. There is also a large gazebo that you could sit under for a bit of shade. Kalbarri has two playgrounds on the foreshore, the Kalbarri Nature Playground (new in 2018)  overlooking the river mouth and another further up the river at the Marina opposite the Gorges Cafe. The Marina area has a small playground area completed with BBQ’s and picnic tables.  Our children are a little older, and we let them play in the park while we sat in the cafe (Gorges Cafe) across the road.
